Last night was a blast :)
I was sitting with my hubby and 2 eldest kids (son and daugther) talking when my daughter went to the kitchen (I thought she was doing a sandwich for herself) and came back with BROWNIES that she has done herself, they were the most delicious, moist, chewy brownies I have ever tasted and she baked them for me !! Entering the room and saying Happy Mother's Day!!
I was so surprised I never expected they were planning this.. I was so happy that they cared enough to do this.. my son was distracting me while his sister was doing the baking ;) smart guy!!
Then the huge big surprise.. my son gave me a box.. which took me a while to register what it was, it was the shock!! .. I didn't imagine in my wildest dreams that they have secretly been plotting along with my wonderful hubby to get me this..
I was so surprised, I didn't know what to say.. actually my N95 mobile phone broke down over a month ago and I have been using an old Nokia that is just a basic phone.. not enough message space, no bluetooth, no camera, no Wi-Fi! Check it out.. I have been suffering for a while LOL!
Now I get to play with my new plaything, trying to learn how it works and downloading some cool applications from the ITunes website..
Thanks to my gorgeous hubby and adorable kids :) I love you !!

congratulations
I don't have the Iphone, but the Itouch which I love. Just keep it away from your children. My children keep wanting to use mine.
You must get the Kindle app. I did not think I would like reading a book on my Itouch, but I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing I have not figured out is how to read ahead. Which could be a good thing.
Enjoy it.
Thanx Pabast :)
Yeah I will try my best to keep it away from them.. although their hands are itching to touch it :)
I got the fictionwise app but will get the kindle one too, so I could dl some books :)
Although I read on my ereader I still want to try reading books on the IPhone too :)
What do you mean by read ahead ?! Sorry I didn't get your meaning :)
Happy Mothering Sunday to you..... It's always lovely when the whole family make this the most special day for you.
Love the Iphone - beware of grubby little fingers from the kids.
E.H>
The only thing I have not figured out is how to read ahead.
There are times when I read a book that I will read the last couple of pages to see how it ends. Thus reading ahead.
Does this help?
beware of grubby little fingers from the kids.
How funny. Another warning about children and the Iphone. :)
That is so cool! I tend to destroy my phones, so I get cheapy ones. However, I do have a 160 gig iPod, which is with me everywhere I go and bestowing upon me wonderful audio books! Congrats!
Thanks E.H. :)
Yeah it was so sweet of them to all be on the plan :) and i will try to keep the grubby fingers away ;)
Pabast, oh I get it.. I rarely do that because it does ruin the surprise! But when I'm afraid that a character might die I sometimes do that just to avoid the high suspense :)
I guess the grubby fingers are so famous with the IPhone :)
Sandy, I'm usually very careful with my phones, and my N95 just stopped working for no reason, it did not fall or get dropped or anything, I didn't take it to maintanence because I'm lazy :) I have an 80GB classic Ipod that is always with me too :) Now I might consider leaving it at home and transfer only what I need to the IPhone :) it's much lighter!!
Aaaah, how sweet! You're a lucky lady.
Awwwwwwwww sweetie, I wish I have an iphone, my hubby has it, the applications are really fun, so indirectly that phone is mine too, LOL. Your hubby and kids are so cute and so so so sweet!
What a fantastic surprise - great gift. I have been looking at the iTouch and just drool over it. LOL.
Have fun playing around with it.
Congrats on the phone! I hope when I have children that are as sweet as yours.
Thanks Dar, I sure am :)
ZeZe, well it is technically yours by wad3 alyad ;) I realized it has so many applications and I've been playing with them since :) Do you recommend any fun ones ?!
Kara, I've been playing and downloading applications since I got it.. hope you get your ITouch soon :)
AWW Insert Book Title Here, thanks and I hope when you have children they will even be sweeter than mine :) if that is even possible ;)
This is so sweet! Your family is wonderful and I think celebrating Mom's Day on a differnt day is the best way. It's a memory none of you will forget.
Jenny girl, they truly are wonderful I thank God for blessing me with them all the time :)
As for celebrating Mother's Day, we celebrate it here on March 21st, don't know when you celebrate it in the USA but I guess every country has a different date :) so they were on time but it still was not expected.. I celebrated with my mum a day before to surprise her and when it was the actual day I simply forgot :) so they surprised me ;)
