A Quote a Day - Day #2

This weeks Weekly Geeks is about A Quote a Day for a whole week :)

You may want to come up with a theme, such as favorite passages from books, author quotes, political quotes, quotes about books or reading, humorous quotes, whatever. Or you may not want a theme at all; maybe you just want to gather up seven assorted quotes that appeal to you. You may want to start each of your posts of the week with a quote, or you may want to give quotes posts of their own in addition to your regular posts. It’s all up to you!

Signing Mr Linky this week means you’re committing to posting a quote each day for a full week, starting on the day you sign up. You can postdate your quote posts so they appear automatically if you can’t get to your blog each day.

My theme will be favorite quotes from books I've read from this year till now..

Day #2
Today's is amusing!

Serena said,"Then someone else must have had a motive to kill Eric."

"I'm glad you think so. Most people think all the motives point back to me. I killed him for the money. I killed him because he was having an affair. I killed him because I was having an affair." Maggie ducked her head and shoved her hair off her forehead.

Serena wasn't sure how far to push her. "Look, it doesn't take a mind reader to know you two were having problems."

"I can't talk about it. My lawyer will kill me."

"This conversation never happened, you know that. Something's been bothering you for weeks. Was it Eric? Was he involved with someone else?"

Maggie rolled her eyes. "For Eric, women were like potato chips. You can't **** just one."

Stalked by Brian Freeman

I loved the reference that women to him are like potato chips "You can't **** just one" :) but i just had to write the whole part.. I had to censor that part but I'm sure you can fairly guess it ;) don't worry no spoilers.. it's still fairly in the first part of the book..

Hee! Very nice quote. I've never heard of that book, but I may have to look it up now. :)

I also quoted a humorous crime novel today :D
It is good with some comic relief now and then.

Books Fall Open, It's really a good book, it was the first book that I read for this author and I loved his style very much so now I'm planning on getting his other books :)

Dorte, I'll check it out, althi=ought mine is not supposed to be a humourous crime novel but the character was a bit bitter, that's why she said that :)

Lilly, LOL yeah I thought so too :)
