The Lost Boy: A Foster Child's Search for the Love of a Family by Dave Pelzer

This is a sequel to his book "A Child Called It" but this is about the authors life between the ages of 12 and 18 and his struggles between foster homes and how he tried to coping and adjusting.
It pictures how he tried to fit in his new world and thriving for affection from his cold mother, opening my eyes to how foster care helps those who are in need and how much support people should give to this 'system'. And most of all it shows that there is still good in this world and people who really want to make a difference.
Very gripping and heart retching story.
