Prescription Contact Lenses, but by bedtime my eyes were bloodshot :(

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.. I would love to check some of the islands too but no one from my family wants to go!

No idea, it depends what my mood is at the time :)

Stressed, worried, depressive but friendly :)

11. Guilty pleasure?
Chocolate, almost any kind :)

12. Who or what makes you laugh until you’re weak?
A good joke, usually said by my hubby.. He says the best jokes :)

13. Favourite spring thing to do?
Go to the beach .. since it's extremly hot here in the summer the best time would be in the spring.

14. Planning to travel to next?
I'm not really planning on any trips for the next couple of years! But things might change :)

15. Best thing you ate or drank lately?
Schezwan beef at the Chinese restaurant we ate at last Monday for my son's belated birthday party that his grandmother made for him.. and the cake was soooooooo good.

16. When did you last get tipsy?
Never. I don't drink.. Never did never will.

17. Favourite ever film?
Pay It Forward.

18. Care to share some wisdom?
"It doesn't matter how smart or careful you are; if a predator wants you he'll find a way" from Fear No Evil by Allison Brennan I feel it has many levels so you could apply it to any kind of predator!

Musing Monday (April 27)

Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about reading non-fiction…
Do you read non-fiction regularly? Do you read it in a different way or place than you read fiction? (question courtesy of Diane)

I do read non-fiction but not as much as I read fiction, you might say about 1 book to every 20 to 30 fiction books .. So I read it once in a while, or in addition to a fiction book like now.. I have one on my nightstand that I read a couple of pages from every couple of days.. it's called Cheap Psychological Tricks: What To Do When Hard Work, Honesty, and Perseverance Fail by Perry W. Buffington, PH.D.. It's fun and the topics are very short about 2 pages each so it's easy to read a topic or two before going to sleep..

But when I was reading A Child Called It or it's sequels, the book was with me all the time so it had no certain place to be read..

Excerpts from a cat's diary

Day 983 of my captivity...

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am.

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.

The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now...

The phrase "He is obviously retarded" had me laughing out loud! It was just so funny thinking my Dexter thinking that!
