The Glass Case: A Short Story by Kristin Hannah
Year Published: 1998
My Rating: 5 stars
41 pages
A short story about doubt and regret. April is a mother of three, married to her high-school sweetheart. Although she is happy, she can't stop feeling guilty that she didn't live up to her mother's expectations.
When her youngest son goes missing while on his way home from school.. She starts asking herself if she really is happy and satisfied with the life she choose. And has a mental conversation with the mom she lost to cancer years ago.
Short, but touching story. I really enjoyed it and recommend it as a fast light read!! So sweet.
